I have great and good players to trade at SS (Ramirez, Hardy, Lowrie), RF (Bautista, Cruz, Joyce), and SP (Baumgarner, King Felix, Zimmerman, Weaver, Cueto), and useful players at other positions (A. Rod, Victor Martinez). I can use CF/LF , but I am always open to trades at any position that can help me. Let me know if you see something you like.

"Feb/ March - You must protect 25 players for the free agent draft. We then have a FA draft of 15 rounds. Total final roster will be 40."

and

"April-May- June first season. All active rosters are 25 man only, but you can use any of your 40 at any time."

So, this league typically gets rolling after the other keeper leagues have taken care of business. Let's set March 14 as the date for cuts, and the beginning of the draft. I'll set up a drops thread sometime around March 1.

Thanks for this. Was just curious when we would get going. Looking forward to the draft, I'm second and the pool seems deeper than it typically does. The Brew Crew can use the help.

Just a bump to announce the drop thread is posted. You must get down to a roster of 25.

The pool for SS in this draft is VERY shallow. I have the 1 rated Andrelton Simmons that I'm willing to move for a top flight ( 5mil or above) SP. I also have Matt Adams or Kendry Morales for those looking at 1b. I'd be looking for a comparable Corner OF for one of those gentleman. Adams would cost a bit more.

Send offers if interested.

Blueiguana check your PMs.

Also, Joe Nathan may be available to those that need a closer. Looking at attaining draft picks, or, a SP. If the price is not similar, some upside to the player would be required. I don't need to trade Nathan, just happens that Closer is actually a strength for me.

Galvis or Pennington may also be tradeable, if the right offer ensues. Swap of picks maybe? Again, I don't need to trade them, I have the room to carry them if need be.

Still waiting for some people to respond to PMs I sent.

In the meantime, I am still waiting for other offers (maybe). If nothing happens trade wise, I will have my cuts in by Sunday afternoon at the latest.

Since I am not last to get my cuts in yet, quick question being my first off season with this league..

My roster stands at 38, and we need to cut down to 25. Math says I need to cut 13. Just wanted to make sure I am not missing any trades where I gained or lost draft picks, and, that we will have a 15 round draft?

once these are answered, I will get my cuts in, prob after work tonight.

If I'm reading the last roster update correctly and the rules therein,

I'm not 100% positive, but I'm pretty sure, you have 15 picks and are just done drafting in round 13, because you have 2 acquired picks in the earlier rounds.

Everything in the rules says Roster at 25 prior to the draft, which would seem to preclude you cutting to 23 to get picks in round 14 and 15

But I could be wrong
