another one, had one last month with Dazzy from another team, now Tim Keefe get's it done

History was made in Windchill as Tim Keefe(19-16) tossed a no-hitter and the Windchill Factors defeated the lifeless Maryland Maniacs by the score of 4 to 0.
Keefe had overwhelming stuff this afternoon. He simply never gave the Maryland batters a decent pitch to drive. He walked 3 Maryland batters. The Windchill players and coaches started to leave Keefe alone with his thoughts after the game reached the 7th inning. By the time the 9th inning rolled around, you could hear a pin drop every time he went to his wind-up - and an explosion after every out. Windchill banged out 10 hits on the afternoon.
Curt Schilling(1-3) was the loser. He allowed a few too many baserunners giving up 9 hits and 2 walks in 6 and 1/3 innings. Keefe was in a jubilant mood after the game. 'If I'd known I was going to throw a no hitter I would have gotten a haircut!' he said, much to the delight of the clubhouse gathering.
