TOURNAMENT TOP 12 / BUBBLE TEAMS?

Can we get a list of names of players who have a shot at one of the top 12 spots? For example, BigAMcinroy is currently in 24th place with 347 points, but his 80's team has made the finals and it looks like his 90s team is playoff bound too. Does that give him a shot? Does anyone know approximately how many points it takes to make the top 12?

I'll be surrendering my top 12 spot. Got knocked out of the 80's semi-final round with Clemens on the mound. My 90's team performance won't keep me in 8th place.

It's been a great tournament though. Many thanks to Visick for putting this together and running it for 4 team seasons. This tournament was really awesome and well run.

A bunch of teams in the current top 12 dont look playoff bound in the 90s (including myself) so alot can change in the next 2 weeks.

I thought at the beginning that it would take averaging 87 wins, with three of those teams making the playoffs, two of them the finals and one winning. That adds to 378 points. I reckon that might actually be the cutoff with a point to spare.

If I win my last six, I'll average exactly 87 wins. It will be my third team to make the playoffs. The first one lost the semi, my next lost the final, third didn't cut it with 81, so this one needs to go all the way to get 378.

What a great job you guys have done to be anywhere near the top 12!

I hope this tournament is done again sometime in the next year or so.

I was only able to have one alternate/filler team in a 1980s tournament league this time (my team made the playoffs but lost in the first round) but the next time this is done(if there is a next time) I want to compete in ALL the events.

So, 368 is the absolute possible minimum, but somewhere in the 370s is probably where the cutoff is going to be.

Thanks franky. Looks like there are 19 people who possibly make it. Three others like me need a miracle. Mine has to come tonight (my 77-82 team must have 5 of 6 games go right in order to tie my division leader and would win the tie-breaker in the worst SOM division ever) and the others during the 90's playoffs to make it (with a number of others losing early in the playoffs). Four more probably need to win a 90's championship to make it.

Also, if Jimmy C and I would be tied at 374 for spot #12, we would go to the last tie-breaker of pick 3 numbers. Now, that would be excitement!!

I think you've got to add RangerJoe to the list. His 80's team is in the process of sweeping me out of the finals, and I think his 90's team will clinch a spot in the playoffs tonight. By my count that gives him a possible 378.

Yes, add Rangerjoe to the list but his max is 373.
