I have no problem with this--but I am curious why we did the bottom? If anyone messes up and picks someone who was drafted live by someone else--it will mess up the whole draft--won't it????

yes, but the person who didn't pay attention will be the one who suffers, not the person who drafted the player. By putting all the live drafted guys at the bottom, it prevents someone from putting all their auto draft studs at the top, trumping the live draft players.

Tom, I'm not quite sure I agree with you. You drafted Nolan Reimold---I may not think of that and put him as my 8th pick---now, if you have him 24th on your list--I get him, you don't. It could essentially have a cascading effect then--or am I overthinking this??

I think I was overthinking---I think I understand what you are saying now---I would draft Reimold instead of you, which I'd have to trade back after and not get a computer decent replacement at that time. Other people would not be affected adversely because essentially, my pick would have just been skipped that round.

I think I'm understanding now---

Thanks!

According to jeep driver - in another league, in another thread - this is the way to do it. I don't completely understand it, but apparently the strat autodraft will NOT give anyone a replacement player that is ANYWHERE on someone else's draft list. So listing players at the bottom of the list does the job perfectly. Apparently the vets in partial keeper leagues say this is how it's done.

I can say that in other leagues like this, it's worked perfectly. Just list your 4 live drafted players at the bottom of your draft list. All your autodraft picks in the top 21 spots, just the way you normally would.

Remember to enter your teams by division.

Jeep - agree with the above?
