Please note I will be completely unavailable the 27th - 30th next week, so I'd like to get the prospect draft done before then. I will be instituting a 2 hour clock starting with round 1.

No you can't You have to forfeit the last prospect pick.

Rules are very clear on this, you are NOT allowed to simply drop a player from your 40 man roster to promote a prospect, the only way you are allowed to promote a prospect is as follows:

1. You create a space PRIOR to the start of the Spring free agent draft when you do your cuts for the draft.

2. You create a space after season 1 is finished when cuts are done for the supplemental draft
or
3. You create a space by virtue of an unbalanced trade where you trade away 1 more player than you acquire on your 40 man active roster, at which point you may promote a prospect if you wish or play with a roster smaller than 40.


I will allow you and qksilver to rework the deal, but you have until Monday at noon to do that.

Again the rules are clear, you are not allowed more than 10 prospects at any time, and essentially you made a deal that put you in breach of that rule.
