Rules Geeks, Help!!

I have looked at the super advanced rules and I cannot figure this out, check out the bottom of the 3rd:

Wiggins has a 2b/flyout(lf) split on 3-5, is there some sort of ballpark triples effect in Jack Murphy Stadium?

Why yes, all ballparks are rated for triples (and doubles). I have no theory about how the basic card results are modified, but I know it happens. Some doubles can become triples, and vice versa. And some singles can become doubles. If you've ever played the computer game, you now that frequently you are given the opportunity to stretch a single, double, or even triple.

Haven't played the computer game, and did not know about the 2b's and 3b's ratings, thanks.
