I know on the diamond a throw to third from left is much shorter than from right. Is it in SOM? When I last played the cards 1978) there really was not a difference. A runner headed to third had the same chance of success with a RF (-2) or a LF (-2).
Is there any adjustment for a throw to third vs a throw to second which would be the same for both? I have seen some comments that suggest putting the better arm in RF. I'm not seeing a "math" reason for that. Just asking.
throws from right field you add 2 the runner, throws from left field subtract 2 thus the better arm in right is better. just on throws to 3rd. no change other bases unless 2 outs
