Question about when the online computer holds base runners

Can anyone tell me Hal's (the online SOM computer) rules concerning when base runners are held on first or second. For example, does Hal only hold runners with asterisks.

My question related more to the online game and specifically Hal's tendencies toward holding runners. The default settings for SOM baseball 2013 are that the computer holds all asterisk runners and/or runners with a 50 per chance or better of stealing a base. Does the online game use the same tendencies?

The computer in this game seems to be a little bit earlier of a version than perhaps the latest CD-ROM, but the computer logic (Hal) seems to be real similar. So I would guess you have the right answer but I do not know for sure.
