Prospect draft rules were modified independently of the free agent draft rules, when we voted last year:

PROSPECT DRAFT
1) There will be no prospect draft in this league, until we have played all of the older seasons. When we get ready to play a brand new season, along with all other keeper leagues, then we will adopt prospect draft rules similar to those in common use at that time.
2) Effective with the 2012 season, we will hold a prospect draft after the annual free agent draft, with managers drafting up to 2 prospects per year -- prospects are those players who have never received a card yet and draft sequence will be random and serpentine.
3) Prospects may be held indefinitely, until such time as a player receives a card, at which point the prospect must be either promoted or dropped -- with managers holding no more than 4 prospects at any one time.

Since the "draft sequence will be random and serpentine," I will ask for a random number generator to be run in the main Strat forum.

The results will be keyed to the basic draft sequence, as shown above.

I will be participating in a 1958 (offline) draft starting this week, to be followed by a retro keeper 2009 draft that I'll be running right after that. That's why I suggested May 1 as our new start date. After the failed attempt to change the prospect rules and draft start date, though, I wonder if we might approve something like...
