JImmy Rollins, though a good player, is not a HOFer. To me, the HOF should be the best of the best at his position for his generation. In this generation of players, only Jeter as SS gets the nod. There are some players that are in the Hall that should not be in, mostly due to having their buddies being on different Veteran Committees. Maz is worthy. Defensively, he was brilliant, like Ozzie Smith who is also in the Hall. There is something to be said for defensive geniuses-Maz wasn't a total zero at the plate and you have to consider he played in an era of depressed offensive numbers when SS and 2B was a non-offensive position for the most part. How many runs did he save over the course of his career? His defensive WAR must be off the charts which made him an extremely valuable commodity in that era.
