I will be participating in a 1958 (offline) draft starting this week, to be followed by a retro keeper 2009 draft that I'll be running right after that. That's why I suggested May 1 as our new start date. After the failed attempt to change the prospect rules and draft start date, though, I wonder if we might approve something like...

The prospect draft will begin PRIOR TO the free agent draft, as soon as all managers have checked in and posted their drops and promotions for the new season.
