HAL is driving my bullpen -- but not into the ditch!

This is from one of Andy's franchise leagues. I ended up with three RP-only's, equally mediocre. So I just set all the SP*'s to slo-hook, closer use to regular, and relief usage to agressive, and nothing else for the pitching preferences. So HAL is making all the decisions about who and when to use as relievers and setups and closers. And it seems to be working alright.

Just lucky? Should I just give up trying to run the bullpen?

That's funny Mark, I'm doing the same thing with the Cardinals in our latest league we started. Couldn't decide who to set for what because they are all very mediocre. HAL is running it pretty well for me too

Great to know guys, Andy's Cards with HAL running the staff sweeps my Yankees tonite, and in the other league I have the Pirates who have half the run differential as the Cards. Halfway through the season I let HAL run my Phillies team several iterations ago because I was so disgustipated with the manipulations he was doing with my choices for that team...and he improved on my record! Is there a lesson here?

How about this team from another of Andy's franchise leagues? I had no idea how to run it so I let HAL run the whole shebang -- hitting, pitching, strategy. I didn't change one thing. He brought me all the way to the finals.
