$200 mil allows for team salaries in the $135 - 150 mil range and then also allows call ups & drops related to injuries and September call ups, without going over the cap

yeah allen, it's not as generous as it sounds. it does allow you to have a disabled list, but you can only carry 25 active players at one time, so it gives you the flexibility of replacing injuries, especially the long ones, but you still have to cut your active roster to 25 even if you have 28 or more who can play.

livin' in L.A. and knowing what a wonderful person he is, I hate to root for Kershaw's injury to linger...but for the sake of this league, wilmur's getting ridiculously all star laden. then again the expos won 103, the yellowtails a mere 99 last season, so I guess they needed the help...

Sorry to hear today that one of our founding members is leaving the league. ggrover wrote to JF and said:

I think i am going to have to pass.... My son starts baseball tournament season now and my free time is hard to come by.... Have no time to prepare.... If you can;t find a replacement let me know. Would not want to keep you guys from playing.

Thanks
Greg

If you know of any good candidates to replace Greg, let me know. Otherwise, I will post a call for a replacement in the morning.
