12) Effective with the 2012 card set, we will start the annual free agent draft on June 1, with no clock in 1st round of any drafts after that, whether free agent, supplemental, or prospect.

PROSPECT
2) Effective with the 2012 season, we will hold a prospect draft after the annual free agent draft, with managers drafting up to 2 prospects per year -- prospects are those players who have never received a card yet and draft sequence will be random and serpentine.

I know that nobody has posted an objection to starting the drafts earlier than June 1, but it would probably be good to update the rules anyhow.

I will be participating in a 1958 (offline) draft starting this week, to be followed by a retro keeper 2009 draft that I'll be running right after that. That's why I suggested May 1 as our new start date. After the failed attempt to change the prospect rules and draft start date, though, I wonder if we might approve something like...

ive got drops pretty much ready, just working out some last minute trades. can post as soon as we find grover's replacement and get prospect draft going.

Reelin' in the Years League needs a replacement manager for the first 2013 season, to be starting soon.

We have played an 11-season retro keeper run, from 2001 through 2011 and now run as a typical 2-season standard keeper.

Sorry to hear today that one of our founding members is leaving the league. ggrover wrote to JF and said:

I think i am going to have to pass.... My son starts baseball tournament season now and my free time is hard to come by.... Have no time to prepare.... If you can;t find a replacement let me know. Would not want to keep you guys from playing.
