it seems ludicrous to me that the prospect draft is random

I was curious, so I looked it up. On page 459 of our original ILC thread, you voted for "Padre's proposal," which was "random and snaking"

plus clarification...."has never been issued a card..." does this automatically eliminate guys like brian Wilson and jose valverde from this draft?

If they have previously been issued a card, then yes, that eliminates them from this prospect draft
