You've got to value the intangibles better.

In my F2F and national tour leagues, Dustin's a top 3 2B pick and here he's bulletproof.

Typically, Dustin goes a round or two ahead of the other two $$ guys. In my four drafts, he's rarely around midway the third round.

Your squad did well with your OF arms preventing my guys from nabbing extra bases. Your solid ranging IFs added to my troubles too.

From the offense side, your squad struggled against LHSPs but you suspected that already. Plus, I can adjust IF and other game defenses in the CD-Rom that aren't apart of the online format.

On the hand, my squad needs work. Surprisingly, the RHSPs didn't kill me - the lack of hitter OB vs RHPs did me in.

I played Pedroia's card in the F2F league. He did quite well against LHP stacked squads. In the sims, he did the same but stunk playing against the Fenway squad facing 2 or 3 RHSPs per series.

Plus, I needed the money for LF which I couldn't pull from Joe's investment fund. For < $7M, I'll accept the injury plagued Utley and his buddy, Kendrick.

Lot of LHP in this league Semper. Maybe Pedroia wouldn't be so bad???

Then again, there are a lot of LH parks so maybe Utley *is* a good choice.

Pedroia is a monster vs. LHP with 36 hit chances and 54.6 OB chances. Kendrick isn't too bad vs LHP and RHPs. The GbAs are another story. Utley will play in the LH parks with Kendrick playing against LHSPs.

And, I'm waiting for an owner to realize that he has a misfit on his squad and drop that player into my lap.

I've yet to conclude on my LF'r situation and whether I go cheap at the DH position.
