Well I just made several moves. Was too weak for all the LHSP's in my division. Better offensively but weaker defensively and more injury prone.

Does Tim have a socially transmitted disease? He's been passed around enough to where I'm suspecting he's got something.

Question. What was the name of the team I took over?

Why the hell is there a live draft when you guys make 7,654,324 moves after waivers?

I love how Jeep complains about his team. That is his pep talk. He talked about his Iron Glove team sucking BoneCracker/Frank M tit and off they go. He is in second place now 5 games behind me.

I want that guy with the STD as you can never have enough team spirit on any team.

I have to go now so I can make some changes to my team so I can compete with the moves that have been already made.

Chase, I guess technically you took over for Durant Jerry, but Big Mahon and JamesZimmer also were in the league last time around. That's a lot more turnover than we usually get.

The movement in this waiver period is also very unusual. Usually it's just Semper filling up pages of moves. So many people moving is weird. I can't even keep up with it.

Big A thoughts on your team: A great D as always for you. Even though you're playing a 3 in CF I think. Less than average spent on pitching so far. Not a great offensive team as usual. Looks like a normal Big A team to me. :P Anyone have any thoughts on my squad?

Hudson's not the only guy who has bounced around. There are a bunch of them.

It will be interesting to see who ends up with what. There are a couple of teams that still have cap to spend.

Hey Chase, it's durantjerry, not Durrent Jerry. Not sure you wanted to spell right or not. However, that's the manager name. The name of his team was always "East Wareham Pile Drivers".

Now you're stirring things up letting that guy go. ;)

What are you going to do with all that cap room????? Ah, I see, Kershaw finally leaves the waiver wire. I was wondering when that was going to happen.

There have been a lot of waivers moves but lets not forget a lot of them are the same names over and over!

No, sir, I won't start a 3 in CF. :) But yes, I do not intend to be offfensive ...

Semper is camped out by the transaction wire. I've been guarding it pretty diligently but can't beat Semper to the punch on the couple of guys I wanted.

Hey, I'm guarding the lines aka internet for waiver wire transactions. I've missed a few too. It's only a matter of time before Joe joins the free agent yard sale.

In view of the wire activity, I've been rather quiet with the occasional adding of recently dropped $$$ free agent

Post live draft, I had several gaps to plug before I even had a "legal" squad:

C: Salty / Sanchez
1B: Davis (went for the LH bat first and then would grab RH power hitters)
2B: 2B: Pedroia (a valuable card but bit expensive for Progressive a few days ago)
SS: Hardy (Initially had Fenway or CINN parks in mind; a bit expensive for Progressive)
3B: None drafted
LF: Gordon (at the time, not enough LHSP to support Alex's value)
CF: Gartner (felt like the booby prize for CF'rs)
RF: Bruce (a misfire in my draft but serviceable for Progressive)
DH: Ibanez / Boesch / Young (all "5" ranged fielders)

My pitching staff felt less influx with the recent roster moves reflective of my park's dimensions.

SP: Quintana
SP: Latos
SP: Chacin
SP: Lynn

RP: Nathan (great for a different park)
RP: Howell (wanted Smyly)
RP: Albers (wanted Shaw)
RP: Bastardo (okay for most parks)
RP: Ottavino (RH specialist)
