A very, very quick impression (did not review your division opponents), but I'm worried about your lack of speed. Also your exposure to injuries. Initial impressions.

The short answer is yes, your team can get the job done.... I do not like to be critical of other people's teams, but since you did ask here are my quick thoughts:

I very much like your position players....Your rotation is dominant I just don't understand why you have six starting pitchers, that seems like a waste of money to me. Also, you have spent quite a bit on two relievers (both over 4 million each) when you already have a dominant rotation. If you set your bullpen up right, maybe you can make it work for you! .... Jean Segura was a great choice at SS.I also like Aaron Hill and Christian Yelich and Boesch is a great bargain DH platoon.... Good luck to you!

I agree with Radagast concerning the relievers. To me, you have to try to "cheat" the cap somewhere and with that rotation in that park I think you should try to get by with cheaper relief to boost your offense. In the end, I think lack of offense may do you in, especially vs lhp's.

I don't think I've seen anyone spend even close to 45.29 on pitching before.

That is a very interesting team. Looks like Bumgarner is set to pitch every 5th game. I would list him as the 2nd starter to get him every 4 games. btw, I see Santana had a 4 homerun game.

I spent 36.47 for pitching on this team, but had a 4 man rotation and a less pricey BP.

7-2 to start the season. Still early and the pitching is dominating..if I can keep winning the close ones I might have a shot. Yeah this is the first season I really went big on pitching, I thought I could get some good players to platoon for cheap but my lineup is pretty ugly. But I'll take the hot start!

Impressive numbers for those two relievers who are relatively cheap...and you gotta love three starters with over 22 wins.
