Should I try to Upgrade with a Trade?

PostThu May 01, 2014 10:29 am

Looking for some advice. My team is staying on the fringes of making the wild card. I think we might be over-stocked at pitching. We are offensively challenged at times. Would anyone consider trading Kershaw or another pitcher for a bat? It is possible I might be able to work a deal for Beltre....or should I just ride it out?

I would trade Carlos Gonzalez if you could, he does not fit your park.

Don't trade Kershaw your weakness is generating runs. Doubles hitters, Base stealing and aggressive bunting is the way to go in AT&T. Yes,Carlos is a poor fit and way too much money -I would go for the Beltre trade. Ellis is wasted payroll on the bench, you have Galvis and Amarista to fill in for middle infield injuries. Not crazy about Butler he really clogs up the bases with his 1-8 "speed".
