I'm sure Spider will not be test-driving a Jeep anytime soon. 6-0 vs. him. :D

We all know that Jeeps are prone to roll over. :P

Yeah, I thought I was off to a good start and I look and Jeep is only a game back! Come on Spider, no more "rolling over"! (except to me! ;) )

I gotta say, I know there were some hiccups with the draft but cooler heads prevailed and this "new" group of guys we have has really created a lot of fun. Boards seem more active, lots of shop talk with a nice splash of humor thrown in. I'd be thrilled if all our seasons turn out like this. Thanks for the fun guys!

I agree Corky. It's been fun so far. 8-)

Of course, when I get some breaks like I did against Jeep tonight, I *would* think it's fun!

Did well against our division, now we head to the West to see what we can do inter-division. First up AT.

Win 2 of 3 but lose another game in the standings. Looks like Joe is serious this season. Someone slow down that Union Pacific train disguised as Joe's team. ;)

What I liked about last night's series was in Game 3 where Moss homered and Papi homered twice off Kershaw. :)

What I didn't like was in Game 2 where Tulo got plunked and is out for 7 games. :x

Joe is on fire for sure! Not too often somebody starts out 16-5 here. It's amazing he has that record and only a +14 differential though.

Early returns on my relief corps - Juan Perez (who I picked up by mistake, trying to get the "other" Juan Perez) has 3 saves. I decided to hold on to him, expected my relievers to be crucial to the team's success. Clippard and Veras are off to a poor start - may have something to do with my 1-7 record in 1-run games. Joe has started out 6-1 in 1-runners. Let's hope that tide turns.

Clearly a few breaks have fallen my way. You don't go undefeated on the road or 6-1 in one runners w/o a few breaks. Plus, I survived a spat of injuries (I'm not alone in the injury bug I've noticed) which was lucky too.

NLD is so tough, you *have* to get some breaks to do well. Just hoping that we can keep on playing well.
