Veteran's League

PostSat May 03, 2014 2:25 pm

League: Beautiful Day in Austin
No themes, Advanced, standard 80M autodraft, waivers, 20%drop. No password.
Looking for veterans, preferably, but all are welcome. Just trying to play one step up from the Auto leagues.

Thanks, edge

I joined up over the weekend but since no one else was signing I did a auto league. I will join in again once a few sign up. Think a lot of the vets are happy doing auto leagues at the moment to try and build up some easy creds ;)

No, I think they're mostly in Private Leagues. I think I'm going to abandon this and get in another autoleague myself. Thanks.

LOL

I think the auto leagues have become a lot harder since the days when the online Strat baseball debuted. I think any newbies attracted in the early days have improved as they stuck with it, and the marginal players fell away and so there is a smaller but overall more competitive set of players. I think Strat has improved pricing for cards too, so there are fewer hidden gems, thus increasing parity (imo) regardless of team owner skill.

I miss the good old days of easy 90-100 win seasons. These 83 wins make the playoffs leagues are too grueling.

haha, well then I cant explain how I can pull off 90 win playoff teams in auto draft and the minute I start the championship series if I hit .500 its been a stellar season!!!
