So, does this capture it from a single manager's perspective?
1. I draft an AL team and NL team.
2. In the first season, we play only with db era cards. I can use all players carded to my two teams. The exception is players like Cy Young carded to multiple teams. They are only available to the team for which they played most in that era.
3. I get three additional players, selected from the pool of players that played for NONE of our 12 teams during that era. These are selected in a forum-based free agent draft.
4. The active roster has to fit under $125m
5. The next season is pre-war. I use the same two teams to make my pre-war roster, but this time the "ringers" are a new list, still based on players carded to none of our 12 teams during the prewar era.
Does that sound right?
