I believe 1920 is the cutoff? But the player set modules separate the db teams from the pre-wwII teams if you select the "by team" option.

Hi,

Just noticed a player that played more for another team in 1924 and was wondering if he had to be excluded. I assume we are making teams using the whole ATG7 set and then restricting ourselves by both era and team, right?

No. Exclusions are by era. Download the db set and compare games only within that set.

I don't see a way to make a team as "db only." Do you mean "Pre-WWI" 1619 cards? I'm not talking about spreadsheets, I'm talking about the actual game engine and set used.

Right, you would select that set - the pre-WWII - and then when you go to select players, go to the by team option at the bottom of that pop-up window and select only the NYdb squad and it brings up all the deadball era Yankees available. And as I said earlier - I believe it cuts off at 1920, because Ruth's first batter card is the 1920 db era.

Use the db spreadsheet to select players. When it becomes time to load a team, load your selected players from the ATG VII ser.
