If you stretch the bar, I count about 20 to 25 employable players, especially when you compare them to what I have to work with in this first era. Cards were not too good starting out and with out Collins and Shoeless Joe, the White Sox are the White Sux!!! They do have some pitching though.

Yep. The Yankees are Ruth. Not a single other player over $4m, and only one decent pitcher. But the Pirates have enough to fill out most of the rest of the roster. I still have 3 scrubs, so I'm sure I'll find a replacement for all 3.
