Very pleased with both the franchise draft and the free agent draft. Picking in the 5th slot, I was concerned that my choices might be a bit weak, but things worked out well.

I had viewed the Dodgers as one of the top 4 franchises, because they are pretty strong in all eras after the db one -- luckily, they were still available when my turn rolled around.

And then to have the Indians still there for my second pick was great. They had a super team from 1917 to 1920 and essentially took over my roster for the db era team.

After filling in a couple of holes with the FA draft, I'm looking forward to a fun season!
