Oh, it's all fun, no need to take this too seriously. I think it's hillarious that I find myself with one open roster spot on my draft list with $.72 cash left. I'm gonna have to drop somebody I want because of $ .03 lack of cash HAHAHAHA! :D

I am so happy though that i now have the complete lineup I imitated as a kid over and over again as I played whiffleball or Birdieball (baseball with badmittion racket and birdie). At 59 years of age, I can still somewhat imitate the batting stances and swings of the whole lineup:

BROCK, FLOOD, MARIS, CEPEDA, MCCARVER, BOYER (NOT SHANNON), JAVIER, MAXVILL AND BOB GIBSON! I have died and gone to heaven. I was actually in Busch Stadium once when Bob Gibson faked a bunt and hit a homerun

For the Dodgers - My next two picks are Osteen and Haller. Osteen can only be picked by the Senators, so I can take him before they pick in the second round. Haller can only be a Giant, and my third round pick is before theirs.

I assume you have to be able to draft an eligible team with the 80 million in autodraft. If you cannot then an adjustment must be made to the free agent picks in this draft.

I think everyone can autodraft an eligible team (enough RP and C) but let me know if you can't.

That is what I'm trying to accomplish with this league. Although I can't do it myself since the Orioles and Reds were taken.

Season hasn't started yet and I already hate someone. Was hoping Osteen made it back to me.

Any free agent selections during the draft would have to be listed as the 24th and 25th choice, right?

I took that to mean that you cannot do any free agent selections in your original 25 man draft, but you can pick them up during the subsequent waiver draft. In other words, the answer would be: No, you cannot list them at all, but only select players who played for your team, then wait until waiver draft to make free agent adjustments.

It feels good to be on the other side of things. Usually, I hate the other people in the league and they barely notice me.

Yes you must draft an 80 million dollar team with your eligible players conforming to Strat rules including at most one free agent that is eligible from teams not originally drafted. ie Harmon Killebrew. If taken in these first three message board rounds.
