Don't know what the problem with that is? It's not breaking any rules is it?
I wonder if the guy was not taking the league seriously and wanted to do an experiment to see how good or bad he would do if he replaced his team?
Or if he was losing anyway so did a total team overhaul?
Im not sure how when a person decided to do something that another manager feels like he is "not trying" is of any other business except the manager himself. If a guy wants to tank his team that's his prerogative. No rules are broken.
The only thing that seems interesting would be the advantage the other teams in his division would get since he would be playing them more often. Which doesn't matter much except for the wild card spot. The other divisions would still have the same leaders and in the post season the advantaged team from that division would no long have an advantage except perhaps home field advantage perhaps.
Hmmm...
Now that I thought about it I have changed my mind. It skews the division and playoffs too much giving the offending teams' division and advantage both for a wild card spot and home field advantage in the playoffs.
But I'm still of the opinion that if I want to get rid of a guy cuz he is sucking in order to pick up a different guy that has a smaller salary I have the right to do it without being accused of tanking my team. Even if it's 5 or 6 guys.
Scott.
I'm in this league and the complaint is more than valid. The league started this past Monday. The guy dropped his yesterday and also today so after 6 games his $80M team was down to $67M. Robert and I are in different divisions than this guy. So the 3 other teams in his division get to beat up on this guy. Yeah, I would like my credit back too.
