Its been a long time since I had a 100-win team, but I wound up dreading it; maybe it was raised expectations, but I remember typically being disappointed by the playoffs.

Luck as a factor dissipates over the course of 162 games.

This team was swept in the finals (plus shutout) and I was 10-2 against the team in the regular season and I outscored them 55-34. SGT D

Here's my 106-win team that was swept in the finals, even after I benched most of my starters the last 7 games to ensure their health:

The '02 Giambi and Giles cards were truly things of beauty. And Borowski and Boehringer were sublime super relievers in the heyday of super relievers.

My rookie season - went 102-60 w/ Seaver Koosman and a couple of LHB sluggers from the Tigers in Tiger Stadium.
Lost 2-3 in Semis though to the Wild Card.... urh.
But I guess I should be satisfied with a good rookie season!
