Thanks for letting me take part in your league. I have just a couple of questions.

Can I contact a team owner privately through email or do I have to use this thread to propose a trade?

Is there a league email list for all participants?

Can someone post a link to the most recent standings so I can see how my team performed compared tom everyone else.

So far the hardest thing has been knowing who is available as I have been comparing the 2013 unleashed listing to the rosters you provided on google. If there is an easier way please let me know.

Kim, the free agent draft in the spring is when you look at the 2013 set and see who can improve your team. There's not much left after our 15 rd draft. For a supplemental draft like we're doing now you want to choose players who are off to a good start for the current 2014 MLB season and hope they continue with their early success. You are basically choosing players who you can use for next years team. Look at who has been picked so far as examples.

As far as seeing who is available you are doing it correctly. I use Yahoo stats. I Sort hitters by OPS, pitchers by ERA, look who is doing well and then see if they are owned or not from the google doc.

Another good source for current data is MLB statistics at ESPN:

I agree with sorting hitters by OPS. I sort pitchers by WHIP, which has more to do with the pitcher's ability, I believe, then the ERA.
