New Replacement Manager needed - 60s StL Cards

We had a manager try to ruin the league during the preseason. It is the mystery game, 1960s and he had the StL Cards including Maris (from his year in StL). So, it is a good team. It is also in a divisional with the 1960s Senators and Angels - so it should be quite possible to make the playoffs (if you can beat the Pirates or get the wild card).

The SOM management actually removed the manager and will assist in loading a replacement manager once we find him. The rules are posted under the Single Team Theme League - 4 Decades. We would prefer a manager in for all four decades, but in this situation, we'll take a manager for one season (the 60s Cardinals) and take it from there. Bob Gibson, Curt Flood, Steve Carlton, ...

On an unrelated note, finishing 20 games up in the Mystery Tournament Championship, is that really necessary?

Ken Boyer, Maris, Flood, Brock, Cepeda, Javier, Hal Smith, McCarver, Maxvill, Bobbie Gene Smith, Musial, Swatski, Scheondinst ...

Barney Shultz, Hal Woodeshick, Joe Hoerner, Curt Simmons, Nellie Briles, Steve Carlton, Bob Gibson, Ray Washburn ...

That team hit on just about every person on the roster including guys like Dejesus, Boswell, Morales, McCarver including Hargrove and the higher salaried guys. I am still afraid of ending up with the best record and then losing to the wildcard team.

The full league rules are posted in a separate thread. If you want to join, we can email support and you can take over the team.

At this time, there is no point to linking to the team because the previous owner (divad) got pissed and cut all the Cardinals. So, we currently have a transaction freeze in place so that the Cardinals can be put back together when the new owner joins.

So, please let us know if you to take over the Cardinals.

Why not, I will commit to the 60s team now. Give me a few days to commit to the entire four decades. If you have someone else that commits in the meantime, plug them in. I will probably not check this site again until morning.
