Exactly! And at least this way, you can pick your ballpark after waivers and after you fix your team!

Yes live drafts leave little after for the waiver period. In an auto draft i got Ralph Kiner in the waiver period which was lucky since I received only 2 10mil players in the auto draft itself.

Scott, You're talking about a $200 cap league, which very few people play (the league you're referring to where you got Kiner on waivers I only joined that league to beat you after the now famous "Larkin comment"). http://onlinegames.strat-o-matic.com/league/348902

In an 80 or even 100 league, I would have no problem letting HAL draft for me and fixing the team after waivers

If you check I'm away HAL will draft the players that you have put in your queue first. He will pick from the top down to your last listed player. If you use this tool and return to the draft you must manually uncheck the I'm away button or your picks will continue to be made for you.

I'm quite proud that I even finished above 500 in that league (82-80) with the debacle that was my auto draft lol. Two 10mil players where everyone else had on avg. 4 or more and the manager in my division had 7 for God's sakes :)

Finishing 2nd in my division and 82-80 was quite a feat of after-draft management don't you think?

BTW I never found out who got the ring?

The Little Reds beat The Natural in 7 games, despite Griffey hitting FOUR HR's for the Natural in game 7! :o
