With waivers after the auto-draft, at what point is one of these multi-carded players eligible to be picked up by the team holding the lower salaried card if the higher salaried card franchise doesn't select the player in question? After the auto-draft during waivers?
After waivers? At all?
Okay if a player has multiple cards...the highest card gets preference...now if the player with multiple cards is not on the initial rosters... He may be selected by the other team he has a card for and the player that gets him may use any card...
an example the "Giants" get amnesia and does not place Barry on their roster...then the Pirates and or the Giants if they wake up can grab him during/after waivers.
If a player has multiple cards he is only eligible for those teams
If a player has no franchise he is attached to then any one that he played for Maris...Cards...A's or Indians...
Hope that helps
PS A trade can only take place in the following scenarios: NEL player for NEL player...or two players that have cards for both franchises...involved in the trade... Any NEL player can be dropped and another one can get picked up...
Some players a lot of the Yanks will not show up: Jeter...Gegrig...Dickey since they did not play or have any other card but a Yankee card
