Nice team. You're correct. That's why I had to bunt more this year for small ball teams.

Thanks Scumby!

I always built teams that ran and used the pitchers parks so this years lack of steals is going to make me go your route by way of the bunt. Could never build a winner in a hitters yard so that option is out the window haha

Must be why I suck at this game Radagast as the only players I see on the team are Goldy, Trout , Endrus and Kimbral. The rest are players that I see in the FA pool every league. One heck of a great managing job getting all the settings correct .

He fied an almost all "1" rated defensive team, which never hurts.

Seen that Jerry! Many ways to win in this game for certain. If you look at that team I won with it did not have a 1 on it.

I just looked at your team Sebastian, it is a nice team. Corey Hart was one of my favorite bargains in the 2012 set, he helped me win a couple championships with that set. You had lots of speed and despite not having any 1s on defense your defense was good enough. They are many ways to win a championship, I prefer lots of balance.

Thanks RB!! Hart had to be the team MVP. He was a very good bargain as was Marson at C. Very good pitcher park player and almost was always able to get him. Didnt have the average but always had nice OBP and could swipe some bases

Nice team Scumby. I didn't bunt even half as much as you did. But I do set my A & B bunters to bunt more. You had a well balanced team even with the lack of any power hitter and yet you won a ton of games.

The Campana card (2012) and the Dyson card (2013) have a lot of similarities. Same *2-7,11,12/- (20-16) running 17 and same bunting. Campana better H&R, but Dyson's slugging much better. And both are under $1.5m
Campana http://onlinegames.strat-o-matic.com/pl ... 012/346904
Dyson http://onlinegames.strat-o-matic.com/pl ... 013/348898

What I really like about both of them is all those gb( )b 's. Campana has them on both L/R sides. Dyson against LHP more so than RHP. With these guys the potential DP turns into only one out, man on 2nd (and often they're standing at 3rd when the dust has settled).

Rajai Davis (2013) is also a very nice base stealer as well with numbers to match these two, but more expensive salary.

When Coleman stole 159, he got caught 55 times. The percentage you achieved while stealing 122 really tremendous, plus you won 98. I never had anyone steal 122 but I think Juan Pierre might have put up similar back in the day for others. That's a pretty high total. Still goes to show the SB is a little weak when you steal 122 and can't score 80, but it sure is a lot of fun. I think I'll put together a SB team. Thanks.

Can you post a link to your team that stole 750. That's amazing, I'd love to see that. Who was your catcher, Bresnahan?

Nevermind about Bresnahan, I just saw you said it was the 80's game. Roger B. was back at the turn of the century. Now I'm even more curious. :o
