Exactly. If Oh's card is as good as Ruths, and you use it, of course you're going to have a great player. But should the card be that good? What statistical comparison do we have to adjust these players stats? At least with the Negro League players, these guys played against their major league contemporaries enough that we have at least some point of reference. I am convinced beyond a doubt that Josh Gibson was the greatest hitting catcher that ever played the game. Now let's look at Oh. Considering the level of the Japanese leagues AT THE TIME, he would not have hit anywhere near that many home runs in MLB. He very well might have had some 30 HR seasons, but we don't have enough information to really know, or even be able to take a good guess
