So, what's the difference between that and the NeL players then?
Seriously. Just tell me how this season of Abreu should translate to a strat card?
In 2009–2010, Abreu had his best year yet, hitting .399/.555/.822 with 82 runs, 30 homers, 76 RBI and 74 walks to 49 strikeouts in 89 games.
That is Ted Williams best season but with more power.
With the NeL cards we are led to believe there was sufficient competition in various exhibitions to provide a direct comparision of how their NeL stats compared to when they were playing against MLB competition. There has been no such comparability in direct competition of MLB players outside of a handful of tournament games in the world baseball classic that has been held how many times? How many games available for cross reference?
Bottom line is there are so many great players from MLB history that people really wanted. And instead we get fictional fantasim style cards from Cuban and Japanese leagues. Will there also be cards based on great seasons from the Korean baseball league. What about the Mexican league?
Why has the guy who has been keeping up with requested players been wasting his time. Why has he been wasting his time running polls? Why have we, including myself, wasted time filling out those polls? Stat said they were using that information. Curious to know what the percentage of people voting in those polls voted that we really needed players from the Japanese and Cuban leagues.
