So I messed up, it's giants pre, not post

So I have a question...when it comes to the supplemental round, if the highest priced card of a player is available, but a cheaper version of that same player was drafted, is that player available to be drafted, or does the owner of the next most expensive card automatically get them...for example, if the yankees expansion hitting gets drafted, but no one drafts texas hitting, can the texas A-rod card be drafted in the supplemental round as a free agent?

Obviously commish decision, but it would seem the owner of the highest priced card wins. In that case if Texas-exp hitting is not taken and ARod is selected in the individual round, NYY-exp hitting loses rights to his card. If neither Texas-exp hitting or ARod in the individual round are selected, then the NYY-exp hitting teams owns the rights to NYY-exp ARod card.

Please confirm.
