Lots of nice cards coming. Over a dozen $200 M worthy items, including Seaver, Sutton, and Kevin Brown (no, we don't have their best seasons in ATG 7). About a half-dozen 19th century stars, Including a sensational 5-day starter and a very nice 4-day lefty. And a couple of nice 4-day deadball starters from the early 20th century, one of whom I have never heard of.

Individual season cards for a number of NeL players, including a couple that are much better than their existing cards. Some great new bullpen additions, including Harvey Haddix, Tom Gordon, and possibly the best closer card EVER.

Revisions to a number of existing cards (I didn't realize there were so many Fanta-Sim relics in this card set), some up and some down. Revised pricing for some of the top cards (Cesar Cedeno and Tris Speaker will no longer be albatrosses in $200 MM leagues) - some up, more down.

And, o course, hundreds of lower-valued cards for us to sort through looking for hidden gems for low-cap leagues.

Is there a list of new players available somewhere?

A great aid would be to have the names of the new or revised cards highlighted in a different color.

Rburgh: Where do you get your info?

I think the change cards are not about fantasim cards but rather moving from the regular cards to the super advanced where they are now available. This shift tends to result in cards shifting to being imbalanced and also see some defense changes. I know when the 1911 Giants were updated, the Fred Snodgrass went from a 2 in all 3 OF spots with a -3 arm to being what we have now and the 1957 Braves went from balanced cards for Aaron and Mathews to the imbalanced we have now.

I would love to see some truly "new" cards introduced and see competitive pricing on under-used cards - but like MM, I think we are going to be underwhelmed. Even the stadium additions are more of the same. Just what we need - more lefty and righty leaning parks :? I want to be optimistic, like Scorehouse, but I'm afraid that the cold reality is that of the Mighty Moose!!!

I would welcome the adition of new players and addition of programs managing your team.

The new list...
No more lefty/righty screwups in relief pitching, we just won't have any.
No more pinch hitters, pinch runners, substiutions, everything will be DH with no injuries and everyone runs 1-17.
All pitchers will be even and 9 inning endurance.
No more fan interference calls since fans will no longer be invited to witness games. How does Hilltop '11 hold 48,000 anyways?
No more Beta. How about old radio with announcers calling the games with commercals and opinions.
The live drafts will be made into movies with plots so we can profit from the expense of buying teams.
Old timers Lou Gehrig, Ted Williams, Frank Robinson will actually win Triple Crowns.
I can think of alot more things, now that ATG 8 will be released, we can look forward to ATG 9.

Sincerely,
Delivery Boy...

I agree wholeheartedly. If, or when, ATG 8 comes out I would like to have a theme league in which every team would have to have two position players with new cards and one pitcher. So it would be helpful to be able to easily identify new cards.

If they do not add some significant new features, this will be marked as an epic fail in my book.
