His More expensive card is eligible in the fa draft

No way man - he's on the Cleveland Post Roster. I know it was never stated one way or the other but originally there was not to be any NELs or free agents, so he was locked in to the Cleveland Post roster at that time. In any franchise I've ever participated in that's always been the case.

rburgh, please don't make your pick until this is resolved, because if it's not the case, or the general consensus goes against this common practice, I want to make another choice!!!!

I think this is exactly like the alex rodriguez example made earlier. If ny exp was picked , and rangers werent than he was avialable to be drafted as a Free Agent. I think that since we made all other players available - including NEL- prior to any possible controversy , than the ruling should apply to all.

No - I disagree - it's not the same and I cite earlier and numerous franchise leagues where Paige always belongs to the Cleveland franchise, if chosen, and Paige is not a free agent. NELs are NOT an eligible franchise in this league. In the Rodriguez example Texas is an eligible franchise. I think that makes a big difference - especially in trying to choose a competitive franchise for pitching.

If anyone else can support your argument than Paige is yours. If not my ruling stands

I went back in the thread and reviewed the issue of the 1-round single player draft. There was some mention early about including NeL players for that, but as far as I know the issue of the NeL players was never really resolved.

As far as Musial's argument goes, I think the 1-round player draft makes this unlike any of the other leagues that have been run where people drafted franchises only. But I'm just one voice, and don't feel strongly one way or the other.

I can see his point, but not sure how significant it is to all. Suggest the commish make the decision and Musial can repick if he wants. Lets keep it moving.

I must admit I was thinking of taking Cleveland Post with my back to back picks. Passed on them because I was under the impression that Satchel could be picked in the FA Round. Understood it the way the A-Rod issue was explained.

I think Musial should repick . I'm sorry if this isn't what you want to hear but I think that it's fair

I guess I had assumed that the NEL players were available for the 1 round supplemental pick, but after reading the above I'm confused. Will the NEL player pool be available for the supplemental draft?

It appears to me, from the commish"s statement that Musial should repick, that the NeL player pool will be available. But we should have clarity.
