6 Half Teams League - Draft

Any left over individual players from teams-era-hit/pit not selected plus the NEL guys are available in the one round supplemental draft. They are chosen as individual players only. This occurs after the six round team draft.

In a recent franchise league I had the Indians and when I wanted to assert the rights to Satchel the ruling was that since his highest value was an NeL card he would be eligible for the FA supplemental draft; thus the commish's ruling here is consistent with my experience.

I know it must be disappointing for Musial if he was planning on this option but I think a re-pick is in order.

Not happy with this subjective decision at all because:

It's not like the A-Rod situation - the NEL players are not and never were an eligible franchise.
Paige is on an eligible franchise and was from the start.
It was only someone's afterthought of adding supplemental free agents after the original rules were laid out that, without mention until I pick Cleveland Post pitching, that Paige is now a free agent.
If rules weren't changed mid-stream, Paige would be on the Cleveland roster.

Well, I guess I got to get the vaseline out and take it. I made my alternate choice - the LA Dodgers EXP pitching.

It appears to me, from the commish"s statement that Musial should repick, that the NeL player pool will be available. But we should have clarity.

Ok sorry about the confusion
All "Highest" value cards are owned by the franchise drafted
If a player has more than one card and his "Highest" value card is not drafted than that card is available in the 1 round free agent draft
All NEL players are available in the free agent draft
We are going to stay with ATG 7 because that is what we have been gauging this draft on

Boys, we gotta get moving or be prepared to step away for 3 days over the holidays. I leave Thurs night for 3 days in internet Siberia and may not be able to check in often, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
