no one is reading the mail. I sent a Barnstormers request that has been ignored now for two days. Count on (at the absolute earliest) to be early to mid next week).

That was my thinking moose but rburgh posts as though he has inside knowledge(particular cards, how many cards) and he said it is supposed to be today.

Man I hope it is today (July 3rd) because if they are already on vacation I don't think it will be on July 4th. I don't think it will kill me to wait another week (though it might)...I was thinking today because I believe yesterday was the deadline to sign up for the first event of the 2013 Player Championship. I decided against entering the tournament with the newer cards because I am really into the mystery leagues these days. But I will definitely give ATG 8 a try. I hope there are some other players who like to play Post WWII with DH at a reasonable salary cap (80-120 million).

Is Bernie still around, I was under the impression he left a while back? I am really hoping rburgh is right!

Oh yeah, Bernie is still the lead programmer and along with his crack "team" of programmers, still runs the show. They will never reveal themselves in ANY e-mail I have ever gotten back - (some kind of company policy) but he told us back when they moved, that this is where his next job landed. The whole thing would crash and burn without him. That's why I suspect Garcia is just Bernie's alter ego. Because when one goes on vacation, they both seem to go. I've been known to be wrong twice - at least it wouldn't hurt to have more visibility in the e-mails they send me - what's the harm in adding "Bernie" to the end of e-mails ? This impersonal "cold" touch is definitely not in favor with me. - MM

I doubt that ATG8 will be up and running until after the holidays. Strat sent out a newsletter today promoting their July 4 board game sale, but nothing was mentioned about ATG8.
