I'd be very surprised if they launched it on a holiday weekend

MM-

I think Nev mentioned that Garcia and Bernie weren't the same person (have to ask him), although I certainly thought more than once that they were.
Also, totally agree with what you are saying about the 'cold' feeling.

Bruce F-

Thanks for sharing-
if indeed its not coming out today then this is indicative of the continuation of the major issue that we've been harping on for a couple years now- and says to me little progress is actually being made.

NO COMMUNICATION!

See its not about whether its ready or not, its that we are left wondering.

Turns out Bernie and Garcia are actually two different people...Garcia is younger (early 20's)

Both seem like good guys that need some better leadership from the top...No one under Richman is living and breathing Strat like many of us are (were).

I am pretty sure Bernie has been gone for a while. Garcia said in his last blog that it could be released BEFORE the holiday weekend. That is not looking so good now. Bummer. I still think it will be nice when it arrives!

Bernie is probably off at one of those Comic Con conventions. I know he used to do his own comic book.

I always thought SOM was a Comedy? A Comedy of Errors and LACK of Customer Service.

Oh BTW the meaning of Customer Service: Customer service is the provision of service to customers before, during and after a purchase. According to Turban et al. (2002),[1] "Customer service is a series of activities designed to enhance the level of customer satisfaction – that is, the feeling that a product or service has met the customer expectation."

I am confused? Do WE get this? :? :? :? :? :? :?

How do we know this? and are we sure this is the case?

It certainly doesn't seem that way to me, just based on the fact that some of the blogs contain information about what happened during the TSN days.

This reminds me of one of my favorite stupid management practices. There is probably a Dilbert cartoon out there spotlighting it.

Management hands out unrealistic deadline. They assume everyone will kill themselves to meet the artificial deadline. This is called leadership. The project usually fails for obvious reasons. Management blames underlings instead of taking responsibility for having no idea how long the project would really take. There is always some middle guy like Garcia who was forced to announce the unrealistic deadline which everyone actually working on it knew could not be met.
