If you had 27 $15m players that would only be $405m. Impossible for you to get down to 700k.

999 - 405 = 594 Well below 700K.

But really whether he can get his remaining salary down to 700K is irrelevant. The question if I read his original post right is asking whether or not it is ok to swap cards back and forth.

For example he say he has McGwire. One day he is facing 3 RH pitchers so he switches to the 98 card that is a 4R. Next series he is facing 2 or 3 leftys so he switches to the 92 6L card. Is it considered appropriate to switch back and forth like that all year?

first of all, there aren't but a few players valued at 15 mil so i don't know where you're getting your 27 players valued at 15 mil each to come up with a number that means what? valen completely understands the scenario?

Typical responses in this day and age. You'd have thought a normal response might be something like:

a) "...700 thousand? Sorry, I meant 700 million. My mistake."
b) "...700k means 700 thousand? I didn't know that."

27 (the maximum number of players you can have on your roster) times 15m (the top end salary). To make a point - if you maxed out your roster with 27 Babe Ruths, you'd still have almost $600 million left, but I think you realize that.

Have a nice day :P
