Waaaiitt a minute- does this mean Im getting the guillotine from the Praetor?

I had stuff here, but Ill say go back to Nev's earlier post, its better than what I was writing.

*separate note*
One issue with a usage based model is that there are a lot of guys on rosters at high caps that don't necessarily get used much- but they are often 'picked up' as backups.

I thought maybe you had an idea of how to adjust them. I agree that the .05 changes seem to be of little value.

I think there are a number of issues with the oft requested usage based adjustments. How do you deal with Player A and Player B with the same total usage but one guy has one card and the other is divided use amongst 4 cards? Raise all four even though some may be overpriced? Or since each card is used less do they go down? Other factors contribute to use.....all things being equal(or sometimes when they are not) we will tend to go with the guy we "know" ....Tom Seaver instead of Guy Hecker etc. Depending on which caps get used more, different players will get used more or less.

The expensive Thurman card is now .73M Wow, that extra $40,000 is a payroll killer.

Yeah, I think the disappointment is that we are looking to keep the game fresh- and minor changes don't really accomplish that.

Its been a long time since we got new cards, and there is a proportional relationship between the amount of time and the amount of change needed.

One change that is needed is whenever a multicard player. Is drafted or picked up for the first time tbat card is frozen for the entire season.

If you mean that you draft Donie Bush, and then drop him, I can't pick up a different year off the wire, I disagree completely.
I also think owners should be able to switch years pre-season .
If you mean one owner can't swap different years of the same player once the season starts, that's a possibility.

Gotcha. Most of the action we're looking at is preseason, and it should be a free for all.
Still, wouldn't want to not be able to pick up a different year of a player you dropped in season. Not a likely scenario, but I bet it happens
