i hate going from a 1 to a 3 in a 140 mil league. can't afford the extra baserunners and expect one hitter to make it up

Yeah. In theory if you cut Collins salary from 10.49 to 7.30, you can move a scrub infielder from .5 to 3.69 and your cash remains the same. Then when Collins is injured a few times you can have some one like Reynolds, Mazeroski or Evers fill in.
