I'm going to defend Delbird on the Ross Grimsley pick: in fact, I sent him a message right after he made it telling him it was a sneaky good move. Grimsley has a couple if really good cards that could work really well in Memorial. And if he doesn't get those cards, it won't have cost much to find out.

Not sure if I made right move in picking Grant Jackson or not, curious to know if Os or Yanks would have gone after him. I knew Matty Alou wasn't going to make it through draft, and I don't have CF depth anyways

Cost is the key word with the Grimsley pick. My O's don't have a lot of cheap players to fill some spots. I've had success with Grimsley before. I figured with the Reds having 2 picks right after me they may go for him to save money as well (like they ended up doing with Metzger).

I like Grant Jackson and may have gone for him in the auto draft but likely not in the 3 round draft.

JCheney, I am really sorry to draft 2 more Giants, but both these guys are good fits for Fulton County Stadium.

4. Tigers
5. Giants
6. Twins
7. Yankees
8. Red Sox

Not too many pure relievers for the 70s who are carded Angels. Had to grab LaRoche while he was available.

This draft is far more interesting than the 60's was and I liked that draft. As player movement increases in these decades it will get more so aye?

I am starting to think the Giants should get 4 free agents. I know I'd be steaming if my team was taken out from under me.
