2 - 4 - 6 League :: Expansion Era

Hornsby played 156 games with Chicago in 1929. He had 154 in '22 and 143 in '24 for the Cardinals. Sorry.

Well, count me out then. The only reason I suffered thru that first era was to have a decent team in this era. Not gonna be a whipping boy again.

Basic structure:
- 2 franchises from the original 16 (1 NL, 1 AL)
- 4 seasons (db, pre, post, exp) -- we just finished playing the db season.
- 6 managers

Steps to get started are:

1. Download ATG VII - Pre-WWII set (includes both db and pre cards)
- We will NOT be shifting to ATG 8, since managers chose their teams on the basis of the players in the ATG 7 set
- Only the "pre" cards count for this next season, not the "db" ones

2. Your teams are the Chicago White Sox and the St. Louis Cardinals
- You can use only players carded to your franchises*
- If there is more than one card for a player in the current season, however, the card with most games played wins (and if tied, then most AB or IP)
- As shown on the "pre-NA" tab in the Google doc, the following players are NOT available to you, since they played more for some other team:
.....CHW: Kress
.....STL: Frisch, Hornsby, Whitehead, Gumbert, Vance, Walker

* Up to 3 ringers allowed, though, from players who are only carded to franchises NOT selected by managers
- Available ringers are those who belong to Braves, Phillies, Browns, and Senators
