Actually, I'm about ready to post on the general forum and see who wants in. This has been a long delay. Of course, I'm on vacation July 31-Aug 5 so I would have limited access for a few days anyway.

Looking at my schedule more closely, i would have limited access on 7/31 and 8/1. The weekend is no clock. and I'll be traveling on the morning of 8/4, but should be around all afternoon.

There has to be somebody who wants the last spot...but if we do a general post anybody can take it and that could turn out not so good. I'd rather get somebody who is active and a veteran. Surely one of us has to know somebody. How about any of the finalists from the last players championship?

I'll have time this weekend to search for names.

How do we do that?

I know some of you had indigestion with our draft last season and I was new to this group, but I thought it was much better than the other drafts I've been in. It took a bit of time for owners to get used to the stratdraft system (myself included, since I drafted the "wrong" Juan Perez and both Cains), but I am fine with the format used (partial roster and stadium draft). Perhaps we could shorten it, but 15 players seems about right to me.

I'll admit I was one of the cranky ones during the last draft with Jeep being the other. With Jeep stepping down I promise to be way more patient this time around. We finish when we finish. This alone should alleviate a lot of the tension. Again, no offense to Chase but he never fully grasped the drafting concept, with him being replaced that should help as well.

Well, we're still short one. Can't start until we get one more to fill in.

I posted the opening in a 24 team 13-keeper league that I'm in. There's a lot of great owners in that group. I'm sure one of them will jump in.
