Thoughts on this team?

Going to waivers later today..... Probably end up going small ball. Any tips or suggestions?

Delahantys other card hits better if you can deal with the glove. I'm not sure Santo is a good choice for small ball. Some people love Thome but he never hits for me. I'm sure there are plenty of managers that are better at small ball than me that hopefully will add their opinions.

I've never played small before, do I not need at least one slugger in the lineup to drive them home? Also concerned with the hitters mostly being slanted left when there are(right now) only 3 LHP in my division...

Team looks good to me, especially the pitching staff and your super reliever Murray. However, I have zero experience with 140 million dollar caps so you should probably listen to someone more experienced. .... I agree Santo might not be the best fit for a speedy team and 3B defense is probably one of the least important defensive positions, so I might not want to pay the extra price for a 1 at 3B.

I, too, like your team. Delahanty at 3B is interesting. I'd like to hear how that works out for you. My only suggestion for change: with your starters and Murray, Fryman looks expendable in your bullpen. Maybe trade him in for a cheapie and use the extra bucks to upgrade DiMaggion.

I'd also go for the best Dimaggio. Waner and Chino look like duplication in RF, unless I'm missing something?

When I looked at the roster I assumed either Waner or Smith would be DH. Possible you are paying for defense there that is not going to be used. Might find a cheaper alternative for DH and spend the money elsewhere.

Correct, the plan is to use Chino as the DH. I get what you are saying paying too much for a DH. Something to think about changing for sure...
