Yes. That's what happens in a 2-for-1 trade

so no matter what its going to cost me another player for Brown. So I will forfeit my Supp pick that leaves me a 39 and save 2 draft picks for next year and meat has my 2nd rd pick supp pick.
So deal is D.Brown for Salazar and 2nd rd Supp pick and I drop Cahill. So Meat gets his pick right?

Yes, as long as Meat confirms the return to the original deal

From the league rules

* * * * *

2) You cannot trade draft choices that you do not own. This means that if you trade a 9th round draft pick, you must release as many players as necessary to insure that you will have a 9th round pick...

Yes, in order to make the trade valid, you can release Cahill now.

The only typical concern about releasing a player after a draft has already started is that someone might have wanted to draft him, instead of the player that was picked.

Looking at Cahill, though -- with a 1.42 WHIP in '13 and a 1.71 WHIP in '14 -- I don't expect that to be a concern. So...
a) Get Meat to agree
b) Drop Cahill
c) Take 2 aspirin and post again in the morning :D

Cahill was dropped he isn't on my roster, the player in question would be Matusz who I did cut but then changed it because I only had 1 pick, that was the mistake.
