Hey guys,
For everyone following baseball's trade deadline today, it's certainly been an exciting day. Even now, just a few minutes past the deadline, more trades appear to be rolling in.

One question we got this week was how the 5-year averages for Mystery Sets are created. For counting stats, we simply add them up and average them out. Stats such as Batting Average and On-Base Percentage are created from those averages. If you tried doing the same with OPS (averaging the 5 years) the results won't necessarily be the same as the numbers shown. For example, Barry Larkin in the 90s displays an .862 OPS but if you averaged the 5 seasons listed it would come out to .865.
